 Note From Calvin

I’ve been skiing and snowboarding for 15 years and mainly ride on the East Coast, like Mont-Tremblant, Bromont and Mount St-Louis. I enjoy teaching carving especially, and have taught from children and adults, adopting different approaches depending on their age. I am currently CASI 2, Park 1, and Carving 1. I plan to take a break from CASI exams this year and work towards CASI 3 later. My aim is to create a safe and enjoyable experience for my students, letting them ask questions, chat together on the lift, and most importantly, learn and improve.

Teaching Style - Repitition

I work best with students who are eager to learn and committed to improving.  My teaching philosophy emphasizes consistent practice, building familiarity with the board until movements become second nature, and—most importantly—having fun. My specialty is double positive angle carving and ground tricks, a riding style I’m passionate about and enjoy sharing with others.

Interests and Hobbies

When I’m not riding, I like skateboarding, hockey, badminton and many other sports. I also enjoy playing video games and watching movies as a way to relax.  ✉ A Note From You Write
