A Note From Jessie
I’ve been snowboarding since 2018 and travel to different ski resorts across Canada each year, including Mont Tremblant, Lake Louise, Sunshine, Blue Mountain, Mount St. Louis, and Lakeridge. Over time, I realized that I enjoyed helping others just as much as riding myself, which motivated me to become an instructor. I earned my CASI Level 1 certification at fifteen, and since then, I’ve had the opportunity to coach students ages 3 to 45, meeting people with diverse personalities and backgrounds. I’m planning to pursue my CASI Level 2 certification in March 2026 to continue developing my teaching skills.
In my lessons, I aim to create a calm, supportive, and confidence-building environment where beginners feel safe to try new things, ask questions, and celebrate each step of progress. My goal is for every student to leave the hill feeling proud, more capable, and excited to keep learning.
Teaching Style
I work best with beginners and students who require patient, encouraging, and step-by-step guidance. Students can expect clear demos and simple movement tips that connect to everyday actions. I tailor each lesson’s goals and pace to the student’s experience, fitness, and comfort level. Im a fan of jsba carving and practicing better on it! If you're learning carving too, we can definitely talk along and share experiences~
Hobbies and Interests
I love playing chess, baking, and relaxing with video games~
